Magnificent very central location, near a beautiful park which was a lovely evening walk with lots of coffee shops nearby, pubs, restaurants, cafes and from central Xiamen and city centre and major tourist attractions. Also, close to airport & train station.

During my stay at Marco Polo, I had the pleasure of enjoying the beautiful swimming pool. It was a refreshing oasis and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The room was comfortable and the gym offered a good workout. The surrounding neighborhood had a great variety of cafes and restaurants to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

The breakfast at the upgraded room was good and the reception on the 8th floor was nice. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. The location was convenient with cafes and bars nearby.

When we arrived in the Hotel, they told us that our reservation was canceled even we have made the reservation on 26.10,.2010, we were tired and in panic, because it was a Stone fair period, and we know when there is a fair in the city is problem to find a hotel. Thet told us that our reservation was canceled because it's the Stone fair at the moment !? That was the reason we made the reservation few months in advance.Then I called Booked.net in England they were very kind and after a while they fix the problem.We are very satisfied with Booked.net but not with the staff in the Hotel , they are totally unprofessional. Otherwise the Hotel is very nice and in the good area.

Western breakfast was not bad, but for this hotel it could be better.

The food was good, and the room was well decorated and well-appointed with complimentary biscuits, fruit juice, and cheese.

During our stay at Marco Polo, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary suite upgrade. We had access to the 8th floor club, where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. The service provided by the staff was top-notch and the room was spacious and comfortable. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The hotel is also conveniently located near the beautiful lake, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. The staff provided excellent service, being polite and always ready to assist. The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a wide variety of options. Additionally, the hotel had great facilities, including a lovely outdoor pool. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this upscale hotel.
